Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and, if you sign up with Google, your name and profile photo.
• Deal and property data: everything you enter about your deals — addresses, financials, due diligence, financing, risk assessments, offer logs, timelines, journal entries, and reflections.
• Development project data: construction/development projects, daily logs, contractors, inspections, deliveries, and documents you create in the Development module.
• Uploaded files: documents, images, and photos you upload to the Document Vault or attach to deals, daily logs, or feedback/bug reports.
• Payment metadata: subscription status, plan, and billing dates. Full card numbers are never sent to or stored by us — see "Payments" below.
• Usage & diagnostic data: page views, feature usage, session length, device type, browser, operating system, app errors, and API response times. This is technical/usage data only — we do not collect additional personal or sensitive information beyond what is described here.
• Support & feedback: messages you send through the Support Centre, Feedback form, and — if you are a beta tester — Beta Feedback submissions (including optional screenshots or screen recordings you choose to attach).

How We Use Your Information

• To operate core features: deal tracking, due diligence, financing and risk tools, the Portfolio and KPI dashboards, Document Vault, and Team/Development collaboration.
• To process payments and manage your subscription or one-time Workbook purchase through Stripe.
• To generate AI-assisted analysis (e.g., the AI Deal Analyzer and CMHC/MLI Analyzer) when you request it — see our AI Disclaimer.
• To send account, billing, and service emails (e.g., payment receipts, invitations, feedback reminders) to your registered email address.
• To respond to support requests and, for beta testers, to review feedback and bug reports.
• To monitor performance, diagnose errors, and improve the platform using aggregated usage and diagnostic data.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored with industry-standard encryption in transit and access controls that restrict each account's data to that account (enforced through row-level security on our database). Documents uploaded to the Document Vault are private and accessible only to you and collaborators you explicitly invite to a deal or project.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. House to House never receives or stores your full card number, CVC, or bank details — Stripe handles that data directly and provides us only with billing status, plan, and transaction metadata needed to manage your subscription.

AI & Automated Processing

When you use AI-assisted features (the AI Deal Analyzer or the in-app Help Assistant), relevant deal or question data you provide is processed through our platform's AI integration (Base44), which may route the request to a third-party AI model provider to generate the requested output. This data is used to produce your result. We do not control, and cannot independently guarantee, how any underlying third-party AI model provider retains or uses submitted data, including whether it is used to improve or train that provider's own models — avoid submitting information you would not want processed by a third-party AI service. Other Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot/CAPTCHA verification on account login and registration.
• AI/LLM providers — power the AI Deal Analyzer and Help Assistant, via our platform's AI integration.
• ElevenLabs — optional text-to-speech voice narration.
• Email delivery provider — sends account, billing, invitation, and feedback-related emails to registered users only.

We use essential browser storage (not third-party advertising cookies) to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes your login/User record, but some associated records may be retained afterward — for example where reasonably necessary for billing and transaction history, support requests, security, legal or regulatory compliance, or general service administration. We do not currently have a single fixed retention period that applies to every category of data; see our Data Retention Policy and Account Deletion Policy for more detail, and do not assume all associated records are erased immediately upon account deletion.

Your Rights

You may access, update, or export your deal data at any time from within the app, and you may request permanent deletion of your account from Account Settings (subject to the subscription-cancellation requirement described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy). See our Account Deletion Policy for what account deletion does and does not remove.

Children's Privacy

House to House is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
