Data Retention Policy

This policy explains how long House to House retains different categories of data.
Active Accounts
While your account is active, we retain your deal data, uploaded documents, project data, and profile information for as long as needed to provide the service to you.
Deleted Accounts
When you delete your account (see our Account Deletion Policy), your deal data, documents, and profile information are permanently deleted from our production systems. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our routine backup rotation cycle, generally within 30 days.
Billing Records
Transaction and billing records (e.g., invoices, subscription history) are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws, typically up to 7 years, even after account deletion, and are managed in part by our payment processor, Stripe.
Usage & Diagnostic Data
Technical usage and diagnostic data (page views, feature usage, error logs, session/device metadata) used to monitor app health and improve the product is retained for a limited period — generally up to 12 months — before being deleted or aggregated in a form that no longer identifies you.
Beta Program Data
Beta tester feedback, bug reports, and diagnostic events are retained for the duration of the Beta Program and a reasonable period afterward for product improvement purposes, unless you request earlier deletion via Support.
Support & Communications
Records of support requests and feedback submissions are retained as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your inquiry and for quality/improvement purposes.
Legal Holds
We may retain specific data longer than the periods above if required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Data Retention Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
