What We Use

House to House uses browser local storage and session tokens rather than traditional third-party advertising cookies. These are strictly functional and are used to:

Functional Storage

• Keep you signed in between visits (authentication session token).
• Remember lightweight interface preferences, such as dismissing an in-app tip or which onboarding steps you've completed.
• Detect when a different account has signed in on the same device, so we can show you a one-time confirmation.

Third-Party Cookies

When you check out or manage billing, you are briefly directed to Stripe's secure, hosted payment pages, which may set their own cookies under Stripe's privacy and cookie policy. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies during the authentication process under Google's own policies. House to House does not control these third-party cookies.

Advertising & Tracking

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, ad-retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.

Managing Storage

You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset any locally remembered preferences, but will not delete your account data, which is stored securely on our servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
